Meet Brooke

Brooke Pinto is a dedicated public servant running for Congress in Washington, DC. As an attorney and elected official, Brooke has served DC residents her entire career – first at the DC Office of the Attorney General and then as the Ward 2 Councilmember and Chairwoman of the Committee on the Judiciary and Public Safety.

As the Ward 2 Councilmember and Chairwoman of the Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety, Brooke has tackled DC’s most pressing challenges and championed and passed legislation to make our communities safer, advance opportunities for small businesses and workers, and ensure our kids and teachers have the tools and resources they need in the classroom.

In the DC Office of Attorney General, Brooke served as the Assistant Attorney General for Policy and Legislative Affairs and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Tax and Finance Section representing the interests of the District of Columbia and its residents.

Before serving at the DC Office of the Attorney General and at the DC Council, Brooke graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and from Georgetown University Law Center. Brooke brings her hospitality training and legal expertise to her work fighting on behalf of District residents – for community safety, greater opportunity, for businesses, for jobs, for our families, for our communities, and for our autonomy.

Brooke’s ready to take this fight for DC values to Capitol Hill.
